Joan W. Bazar 1934-2017. Joan was a journalist, psychologist, mother, activist with Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, San Jose and Peninsula Peace Centers, US-China People's Friendship Association and more. 

The celebration of Joan's life begins at 2:30 at Hattie Porter Hall in the First Unitarian Church, 160 N Third Street, San Jose. (Use the side entrance.) 

Hosts recommend parking in the garage on 3rd and St. John as street meters have a 2 hour maximum.

Please bring vegetarian finger foods if you wish (no citrus).

Please do not use any scented products.

No flowers, please. If you wish to make a donation in her honor, send them to WILPF or the San Jose Peace and Justice Center.
