WILPF: A member-driven activist organization: Friday, Sept 15 at 7 PM PT.

Student-centered education, patient-centered health care, customer-centered business. All are ideals we hear about and likely support.

What about a member-centered activist organization? Yes, in WILPF there are campaigns organized at the international and national level, but what about those things we are doing now, in some fashion or another, that we care about? Are we aware of those causes in the local area or WILPF nationally or internationally, that our WILPF siblings are working on?

This is the meeting to focus on that member-centered activism within our own branch of WILPF. What are you doing that addresses issues in the area? Or issues that have state or national importance?

WILPF is a non-partisan organization, so if campaigning for a political candidate or party is your passion, please keep mum. But if there is a non-partisan issue, proposition, regulation, or cause you care about, bring it to the meeting.

Let's build a quilt of our cares and causes, see how we can stitch them together at the same activist quilting bee.

This virtual meeting is our regular third Friday WILPF SJ meeting.

The Raging Grannies open and close the meeting so arrive early! The link opens at 6:45.
